About Cari

Cari is a Registered Nurse and a US Navy Veteran with several years of experience in the Operating Room and Education. She looks for opportunities to collaborate with attorneys and their firms, working on complex cases that require medical records to be reviewed, organized, interpreted, and into written reports that attorneys can use when building their cases.

During her career, Cari worked with surgeons who were extremely talented as well as those still in residency, learning the craft of surgical intervention. She circulated surgical procedures involving implants such as those used in joint replacement, hardware for spinal fusions, mesh used in hernia repair, and clips for aneurysm repair. Cari also circulated c-sections prior to that procedure being turned over to the labor & delivery team. She worked in all areas of surgery except cardiac procedures.

Cari has also participated in several root cause analysis work groups, collaborating with the team regarding submitted incident reports that involved unexpected patient outcomes. This process is similar to record review in medical malpractice and personal injury.

Cari always held a passion for reading and working in health care, coupled with an intense curiosity for the law. She often wondered what she could do with these interests. When Cari heard about legal nurse consulting, she knew it would fit well with her back-ground and love for research, writing, and investigating. Legal nurse consulting is the perfect match for her interests.

Cari has been married to Pete for 30+ years. They have two adult children and two Havanese dogs, Skyler & Teddy.

Please reach out if you’d like to know more about how Cari can help you and your firm, She would love the opportunity to work with you.
